Ice's Beautiful Soul Eligibility Levels & Criteria

Level 1:
Applications are open to individuals who are struck by tragedy. A tragedy is defined as an event of significant loss be it by physical destruction or emotional suffering or distress, affecting an individual or family. The individual(s)/dog(s) affected must be currently participating in the agility community and must currently reside in the Atlantic Region (Newfoundland and Labrador, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick or Nova Scotia).
Level 2:
Applications are open to individuals who are struck by tragedy. A tragedy is defined as an event of significant loss be it by physical destruction or emotional suffering or distress, affecting an individual or family. The individual(s)/dog(s) affected must be currently participating in the agility community and must currently reside in Canada.
Level 3:
Applications are open to individuals who are struck by tragedy (as defined in Level 1) and/or whose dog must undergo emergency medical care due to injury. If the application is related to a dog’s medical emergency, the funds are available to help defray the cost of required medical procedures (for example, surgical care). The individual(s)/dog(s) affected must be currently participating in the agility community and must currently reside in the Atlantic Region (Newfoundland and Labrador, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick, or Nova Scotia).
Level 4 :
Applications are open to individuals who are struck by tragedy (as defined in Level 2) and/or whose dog must undergo emergency medical care due to injury. If the application is related to a dog’s medical emergency, the funds are available to help defray the cost of required medical procedures (for example, surgical care). The individual(s)/dog(s) affected must be currently participating in the agility community and must currently reside in Canada.
Level 5 :
Applications are open to individuals who are struck by tragedy (as defined in Level 2) and/or whose dog must undergo emergency medical care due to injury or illness. If the application is related to a dog's medical emergency, the funds are available to help defray the cost of required medical procedures (for example, surgical care or treatment). The intent behind providing funds for medical care is to offer the dog a good quality of life post medical care, enabling the dog to re-enter the agility community or simply continue to live a happy and healthy life. The individual(s) and dog(s) affected must be currently participating in the agility community and must currently reside in Canada.
**As the fund diminishes due to expenses or disbursement of funds in the event of tragedy or dog injury or illness, the current fund amount will determine the fund's operating level. For example, if the fund it sitting at $15,000 (Level 2) and a $6,000 withdrawal occurs, the fund will move to the Level 1 eligibility phase.

- The amount of funds provided will be determined on an individual basis, based on the specific situation and financial need.
